November 2021 was a great day! It is a such a unique moment when about 3000 students from all EU countries simultaneously translated the source texts drafted by our translators. This year, the topic of the texts was “Let’s get on track – towards a greener future”. We hope many can echo last year’s winner for Malta, Nathan Antony Pace: ‘This competition felt (and still feels) like the perfect realisation of a dream I had had for quite some time. We focused on flexibility and inclusion, allowing students to translate from school, or home if their school was closed. One participant broke their hand but still took part in the contest !

Μετά από αίτησή μας, το σχολείο μας επιλέχθηκε να συμμετάσχει με άλλα 20 Λύκεια από όλη την Ελλάδα (21 συνολικά) στον διαγωνισμό μετάφρασης Junenes Translatores που διοργανώνει η Ευρωπαϊκή Επιτροπή, για τη βράβευση των καλύτερων νεαρών μεταφραστών της Ευρωπαϊκής Ένωσης. Ο διαγωνισμός γίνεται σε ολόκληρη την Ευρώπη, με συμμετοχές από όλες τις χώρες μέλη της ΕΕ και έχει σκοπό να προωθήσει την εκμάθηση ξένων γλωσσών και την μετάφραση. Από το σχολείο μας θα συμμετέχουν 5 μαθητές της Γ Λυκείου στις 25 Νοεμβρίου, ημερομηνία διεξαγωγής τους διαγωνισμού. Συμμετέχουν οι μαθητές της Γ Λυκείου : Σπυροπούλου Μαρία , Τσέκου Άντζελα, Ναζεράϊ Γκεριστιάνα, Κουλόπουλος Γιώργος, Λαλάκος Βασίλης
